Veronica Beard’s other must-have bag is the Avenue Wicker Bag. This one combines that same artisan-crafted rattan with a modern, sculptural silhouette. The top handle is wrapped in soft leather for comfort, and the removable, adjustable crossbody strap means you can wear it hands-free on busy days. It’s sophisticated yet playful and looks just as good with denim shorts as it does with a linen dress.  My friend Marta beat me to the punch and scooped up this bag upon first sight at Nordstrom at the beginning of the summer season.
